The lunar sample laboratory facility at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas is one of my favorite rooms.

I have spent many hours there scanning documents and photographing records that sit on shelves as the tape and glue slowly degrades, creating new images. I've used these strange found/scanned forms to create new works over the years and to honor the unknown graphic designers and artists who originally rendered these lunar samples.
